The Ambrosia Rabbit accepts a select number of custom projects each year to ensure that I can give each project the utmost care and attention. Pricing and production timing varies based on the scope, needs, and my production calendar. Prices for calligraphy are provided upon request and do not include paper stock or any other supplies. Clients may either (1) provide their preferred paper materials or (2) work with me to select paper stocks and I will provide separate pricing for your supplies.
Vow books are made to order and are subject to availability of the handmade paper used for covers. Materials are sourced from premium small batch paper studios. Average price for a set of two vow books ranges from $35 to $45.
Personalized stationery sets, lined envelopes and gift tags typically take anywhere from 5-7 days, depending on order sizes. Larger or custom designed orders may take longer. Pricing averages around $20 for a set of 10 personalized notecards, gift tags start at $1.50 per tag.
Day-of Details, event branding, envelope addressing and custom commissioned pieces require a consultation meeting and will range in price and timing. It is best to plan for a minimum of 1-2 months to concept and produce a fully custom designed project. Envelope addressing begins at $3.00/envelope, and place cards begin at $2.00/card. Paper and materials can be sourced for you to help streamline the process.
Please contact me through the Contact Form and tell me a bit about what you're looking for! Remember that hand calligraphy takes quite a bit more time than normal handwriting, so it's best to reach out early to provide plenty of time before your deadline.
All projects require a brief consultation prior to providing a quote. We'll cover timing details, your vision and my capabilities, and swoon over all things paper and script. After our meeting, I'll provide you with an overview of your selections, a timeline, a quote, and anything else you might need to make a decision. A deposit fee or payment arrangement will be established to hold your spot on my production calendar, and off we go!
Every project is unique, and we'll agree on a schedule that works for both of us. But trust me, this is the most fun part!
I certainly have some fan favorites, such as my vow books and personalized notecard sets that are usually always in stock and ready to personalized! Please visit my Etsy shop at: https://www.etsy.com/shop/TheAmbrosiaRabbit to browse some ready-to-order items. If you don't see what you're looking for in the shop, message me to get a custom order going!
Absolutely! The Ambrosia Rabbit has serviced clients all over the country and my work has traveled to destinations as far flung as Australia, Greece, and Hong Kong. For international clients or destination weddings, please allow for at least 1-2 months in advance of your event - international shipping and customs can greatly impact timing.
Every project is unique and timing will vary based on the scope and my production calendar. Typical turnaround time for an average calligraphy order (vow books, placecards, stationery) is 1-3 weeks. Turnaround time for a custom design is ~2 months (subject to material sourcing timing). All projects will be contracted with an agreed upon timeline that will work for your event schedule. Rush projects may incur an additional fee. It is highly recommended to start the conversation at least 3-4 months before your deadline, so that we can build in consultation, concepting/designing, and production time. Please reach out to me to find out more!
The typical Ambrosia Rabbit couple can spend anywhere from $200-$1,000 on custom wedding calligraphy. Envelopes begin at $3.00/envelope, and place cards begin at $2.00/card. For a custom proposal, please reach out via the Contact Form. This is a budget-friendly studio, so I am always happy to give you options that work within your budget.
Yes, that is possible! Please send me a message via the Contact Form with as much detail as possible so that I have a starting idea of what you are looking for. Custom Invitations or comissioned works require a phone call consultation for us to further discuss your vision.
